Where the opening piece suggested a point of no return, this painting moves forward into the vast unknown — the open frontier that lies beyond it. A lone rider cuts through a wide field beneath an endless sky, dust trailing behind the horse as it pushes forward with urgency and purpose. The figure’s face remains hidden, reinforcing a recurring theme in the series — the cowboy as an idea rather than a specific person. He becomes a symbol of independence, resilience, and the timeless pull toward freedom that has long defined the mythology of the American West. The title Unbridled Spirit speaks both to the literal motion of the horse and to a deeper sense of untamed resolve. It captures the feeling of breaking away from boundaries, of choosing momentum over hesitation.
