West of Everything IX – “Gunslinger”
There was a time when reputation traveled faster than a horse. Before a word was spoken, before a hand reached for a holster, a gunslinger was judged by nothing more than the look in his eyes.
Gunslinger captures that silent moment.
The crimson bandana conceals his identity, making him more than one man—it makes him every outlaw, every lawman, every drifter who ever rode into the unknown. His revolver rests patiently at his side, not searching for conflict, but ready should it find him. Behind him, the desert burns beneath a setting western sun, reminding us that every legend is forged in the fading light between right and wrong.
The scales engraved on the holster serve as a quiet reminder that justice in the Old West was rarely black and white. Every choice carried weight. Every action had consequences. In the frontier, survival often lived somewhere between law and legend.
As Chapter IX of the West of Everything collection, Gunslinger explores discipline, restraint, and the quiet confidence that true strength rarely needs to announce itself. Sometimes the most dangerous person in the room is the one who never reaches for his weapon.
