Artwork story

The work, from the studio.

“Brothers”

Because some dreams aren’t dreamed alone.

In this third piece of the Started With Crayons series, “Brothers” captures a powerful moment of connection between two young boys—side by side in astronaut helmets, joined by a red string telephone. They sit on a floor scattered with crayons and toys, while the walls behind them are alive with imagination: hand-drawn rockets, planets, and a universe made entirely of hope.

More than just a childhood memory, this painting is a tribute to the bond between brothers—by blood or by spirit. It’s about shared wonder, silent communication, and the unspoken understanding that some dreams are too big to carry alone.

“Brothers” honors the ones who dream together, build together, and launch each other forward. It’s a story of loyalty, creativity, and that sacred space where play turns into purpose.
