LAST SCORE

Original painting by Alex Yost
Every outlaw knows the biggest score could also be the last.
Last Score captures the moment after the plan has already been put into motion. The vault is open. Money covers the ground. His horse waits outside. And with the evidence of the robbery still hanging in the air, the masked outlaw walks away carrying what he came for.
There is no celebration in the scene—only urgency.
His face disappears beneath the black hat and signature red bandana, continuing the anonymity that runs throughout West of Everything. He could be anyone. What matters is the choice he has made and the uncertainty of what comes next.
The title Last Score intentionally leaves the ending unanswered. Is this the robbery that finally gives him enough to disappear? Is it his final job by choice? Or is it the score that ultimately catches up with him?
Scattered bills, smoke and dust give the painting the feeling of a moment still unfolding. The horse waits just beyond the bank doors while the open vault behind him tells you exactly where he’s been—but nothing about where he’s going.
As Chapter XV of West of Everything, Last Score pushes the outlaw narrative to one of its most cinematic moments: the thin line between getting away with everything and losing it all.
