’Til Death
West of Everything — Chapter XIII
Original Diptych — Two 40 × 30 in. Panels
Acrylic, Oil & Heavy Modeling Paste on Raw Canvas
Custom Framed
’Til Death explores love at its most permanent—a bond that outlives time, circumstance, and even mortality.
Presented across two separate panels, the skeletal figures exist individually yet belong unmistakably together. The diptych format becomes part of the story: two separate lives, two separate identities, connected as one.
The exposed raw canvas and heavy modeling paste bring a weathered, tactile quality to the work, while layers of acrylic and oil create a contrast between softness and decay. The skeletal imagery takes the familiar promise of “’til death do us part” and pushes it one step further—what if death isn’t where the promise ends?
At its core, ’Til Death is about loyalty, permanence, and choosing who rides beside you through it all. A Western love story stripped down to what remains when everything temporary is gone.
