‘Bright Ideas’
40” x 40”
acrylic on canvas custom black floated museum frame
2025
This work is the first in Yost’s new series ‘KEEP SHINING’. Yost introduces his new character Mr. Watt. Mr Watt, wears a suit, punches the clock, and keeps the world running…quietly, steadily, with a light bulb for a head and a purpose in his stride. He is the spark applied, the energy it takes to show up, to build, to endure.
As such, he is filled with ‘Bright Ideas’, the first piece in the collection.
